Presentation of the reform of the legislation on use at the Patrimonia Paris trade show

🎤 Gabriel de Champeaux and Damien Grosse had the pleasure of speaking at the PATRIMONIA Paris trade show on June 19, as part of the round-table discussion moderated by Anne-Charlotte Navarro – Gonauer, devoted to the new legal and fiscal landscape of patrimonial real estate, alongside Lucy Bonaimé and Jennifer Juillard.

🎯 An opportunity to discuss the important reform of usage resulting from the recent Loi Le Meur (La loi n°2024-1039 du 19 novembre 2024) :

🧾 Mechanisms designed to step up the fight against meublés de tourisme at local level.

📉 The reform of proof of use and its consequences for the many real estate assets concerned.

🧑‍⚖️ Opinion n°25-70.002 of April 10, 2025, in which the Cour de cassation specified that this new, stricter regime could not be applied retroactively.

🏢 The blind spots resulting from the succession of two distinct regimes, particularly as regards the conclusion of new leases (or their renewal) on hitherto regular premises.

📄 This contribution extends their analysis published in the latest issue of “Opérations Immobilières” (n°175, May 27, 2025)
