Le Meur Law: new, uncertain legislation
Law no. 2024-1039 of 19 November 2024 aims to step up the fight against meublés de tourisme at local level. However, its application raises a number of questions, which have not been dispelled by opinion no. 25-70.002 of 10 April 2025 issued by the Cour de cassation.
In an article published in the latest issue of ‘Opérations Immobilières’ (a special issue of the ‘Patrimonia’ trade fair), Damien Grosse and Gabriel de Champeaux analyse the grey areas of this new legislation and identify the upcoming litigation.
