LACOURTE RAQUIN TATAR ADVISES AND REPRESENTS SEDIF IN THE AWARD OF THE LARGEST WATER CONCESSION IN FRANCE

Lacourte Raquin Tatar assisted the Syndicat des Eaux d’Ile-de-France (SEDIF) at every stage of the award procedure for the new concession contract to manage the public drinking water service in the Ile-de-France region. The 12-year contract, worth some 4.3 billion euros, covers the supply of drinking water to over 4 million inhabitants, and includes over 1 billion euros of investment to produce “pure, lime-free, chlorine-free water”.

Lacourte Raquin Tatar also defended SEDIF’s interests in the litigation that preceded the signing of the contract, under the terms of which the Paris Administrative Court and the Conseil d’Etat fully validated the concession award process.

The team working with SEDIF on this case was led by partner Benoit Neveu and comprised Marine Hue, Romain Meresse, Claire McDonagh and Arthur Pierre.

Partner Xavier de Lesquen was also involved in the litigation aspects.
