📢 HEC Alumni Event – Finance Bill 2026, Le Meur Law… what landlords need to consider and anticipate

The regulatory and tax landscape of real estate is undergoing significant change. In this evolving environment, how can stakeholders anticipate developments, protect their assets, and adapt their investment strategies (or those of their clients)?

Against this backdrop, the HEC Real Estate Club and the law firm Lacourte Raquin & Associés organised a dedicated session for HEC Alumni.

Topics discussed included:

✔️ Taxation of furnished tourist rentals
✔️ The new status of private landlords
✔️ Regulation of short-term furnished rentals following the Le Meur Law
✔️ An update on the Finance Bill for 2026

To shed light on the main ongoing reforms, three lawyers from the firm took part:

⚖️ Julien Souyeaux, Tax Lawyer
⚖️ Damien Grosse, Real Estate Lawyer
⚖️ Gabriel de Champeaux, Public Law Lawyer

Their analysis provided practical insight into recent developments and their operational impacts, both for investors and for the professionals who advise them.

Many thanks to all participants for the richness of the discussions.
