Lacourte Raquin Tatar advises and represents Decoset in the award of the waste-to-energy concession for the Toulouse area
Lacourte Raquin Tatar assisted the DECOSET joint association, which includes the Toulouse metropolitan area, at every stage of the procedure for awarding its new waste-to-energy concession contract. The 20-year contract, worth around €1.4 billion, was awarded to SUEZ and Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts group). It covers the operation of two industrial sites, including a new plant to be rebuilt, and the recovery, in the form of energy, of residual waste from more than a million local residents.
Lacourte Raquin Tatar also defended the interests of the concession-granting authority in the litigation that preceded the signing of the contract and which led the administrative judge to validate the process of awarding the concession.
DECOSET’s team on this case was led by Benoit Neveu, partner, and comprised Marine Hue and Claire McDonagh.
